Educators around Gauteng successfully participated in the Fundisa for Change Healthy Living Course. Engagement with the healthy living exemplars offered the educators and subject advisors to explore opportunities around the teaching and assessing of their subject specific  content.

 

Gauteng Foundation Phase Life skills Subject advisors complete the Fundisa for Change course on Healthy Living.  The course was sponsored by the Department of Environment, Forestry and Fisheries.

 

 

 

Gauteng Foundation Phase Life Skills subject advisors conduct a Fundisa for Change information sharing session with 40 teachers on Healthy Living.  The Life Skills foundation phase subject advisors used the Fundisa for Change healthy living exemplar and developed a programme which they presented with teachers which explored the important role of Education for sustainable development in the context of the Life Skills curriculum for foundation phase learners in real and authentic contexts.

 

 


   

Gauteng Life Sciences subject advisors engage with the Marine Biodiversity exemplar of the Fundisa for Change programme. The engagement with the exemplars offered the Life Sciences subject advisors to explore opportunities around the teaching and assessing of the content around marine biodiversity.
